The captor’s brother falls in love with the women and helps her escape, but during the escape, it is revealed that he is actually the half-brother, not her former lover. While in captivity, the woman finds out information that leads her to believe that her captor/former lover/father of her child might actually be her half-brother. Another woman comes into the picture though and the kidnapped woman is kept in a basement room in terrible conditions at the request of the new woman. While in captivity, the woman and her captor fall in love and she becomes pregnant. I believe the woman is abducted by the man’s brother. The leading lady is abducted due to a feud with the main man and her father. It has been a while since I have read this book, so my memory of the plot may be erroneous.
I do remember that the version of the book I owned had a red cover, if that helps at all. I have been trying to find this book for years, so any help will be greatly appreciated.
